Step 1: Clean your nails with a homemade baking soda treatment

The incredible power of baking soda for your nail routine

Nails, especially when they are long, are the favorite playground of bacteria. Nails that are not very clean, soft, yellowed, brittle or even too short, this is what we want to avoid at all costs. In order to give them a boost, whiten them and get rid of the dirt accumulated over time, baking soda (or baking soda) is similar to THE natural solution for your skincare routine. Indeed, this miracle product in the form of white powder has not finished surprising us! Its gentle abrasion action, as well as its detergent power and alkaline action make it the perfect ally for clean nails free of the most stubborn stains. How to use it ?  We always recommend using baking soda to make homemade treatments. For find white and healthy nails, follow these quick and easy steps: 

  1. First, run your hands quickly under hot water to slightly soften your nails;
  2. Take the equivalent of a teaspoon of baking soda, and apply the powder directly to your nails;
  3. Rub the powder against your nails, either with your other fingers or with a small brush; 
  4. Also take the opportunity to gently rub your cuticles: this exfoliates dead skin, and your fingers regain all their softness;
  5. Rinse your hands with clear water, and wash them with a little soap. 

We recommend repeating this little routine to natural nails, about 1 to 2 times a week. You will see a real improvement in their health!

Step 2 - Shine your nails with vinegar

Once you have clean and whitened nails, it's time to tackle their shine. It is well known that vinegar is used for a lot of home care. Homemade nail care with castor oil is therefore a must, which hydrates, protects and nourishes to perfection. If you have soft, brittle or crumbly nails, castor helps them regain radiance and vitality, while deeply nourishing the cuticles. 

To make your homemade nail hardener treatment at homeCastor oil, you just need to pour a few drops of oil directly on your nails. You can also soak a cotton ball. Leave on for 15 minutes without touching. Since it is a greasy, thick oil, your nails will absorb the amount they need, while leaving the excess on the surface. If your nails tend to be damaged after the application of a permanent or semi-permanent varnish, this is a treatment that will considerably strengthen their enamel, and nourish them over the long term. It is advisable to repeat the procedure every evening; this simple routine will quickly take effect!

The power of fortification with sweet almond oil

Sweet almond oil is extracted from almonds, which come from the almond tree. This vegetable oil is very often used for maintain and moisturize the skin, in particular thanks to its richness in omega 9. In particular, it contains more than 60% oleic acid, which is an omega 9, and linolenic acid, an omega 6 essential for healthy skin and hair. For the olive oil bath, heat a little oil in a small bowl for 10 seconds.
