The "cruelty-free" theme should be taken with caution, since European regulations no longer allow, in theory, animal testing in cosmetics. Therefore, in accordance with European regulations, ALL TIGERS makeup is NOT tested on animals. It would seem cruel to us anyway, and unnecessary: we use well-known ingredients, whose safety is established, approved by regulations or by organic standards. Before marketing, each product placed on the market is evaluated by an expert toxicologist and subjected to safety tests. Our products cannot be sold without first obtaining its approval.
However, the term "cruelty-free" still seems relevant to us. First of all, some countries outside of Europe may require foreign brands to test on animals: if that were to happen, we would give up marketing our products in these countries. In addition, certain ingredients can involve, by their mode of production, animal suffering, even the death of the animal (eg carmine pigment, extracted from cochineal, or by-products of the meat industry) : we deliberately exclude them from any formulation.
