ALL TIGERS contains 82% to 100% of natural ingredients: yes, but which ones? You often ask us questions about the ingredients that go into ALL TIGERS' natural formula, so here is some info on what you'll find in it.
Have you read some pretty weird names on ALL TIGERS' ingredients lists? This is probably because you don't speak INCI. ;-) So let's get the dictionary out!
And if you are one of those people who pulls out their phone and scans every product with a special app, well it doesn't always help: the information displayed is not always consistent from one app to another. Aware of the importance of these apps in your decisions, all of our ALL TIGERS formulas are verified by Composcan, an app that's recognized for its particularly rigorous evaluation process.
Just recently, a little hop onto Yuka made us want to crack open a bottle of (organic) champagne, since the ALL TIGERS composition is judged "excellent."
On cosmetic packaging, regulations require that ingredients be presented according to the INCI standard, or International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients, which is beneficial because it unifies the presentation of the components of a product, regardless of its country of origin. The disadvantage? It's a sizable one: we don't understand anything.
How are all TIGERS lipsticks formulated? Here's some more information about the ingredients in our formulas. Some are present in large quantities (such as vegetable oils!), other in very small quantities (such as water and alcohol!). Here, they're listed in alphabetical order according to their INCI name.

ALUMINA = Aluminium oxide, helps create certain colors
AQUA (water) = Water
ASCORBYL PALMITATE = Our lipsticks unfortunately contain palm oil [origin: Asia]. It is not our choice, but some natural ingredients are delivered to us in this medium, because of its antioxidant properties. We're currently exploring other supply chains.
CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT = Organic Gotu kola extract, the famous “tiger grass” known for its restorative and rejuvenating properties
CI77492 (IRON oxides), CI 45410 (RED 27 LAKE), Ci 15850 (red 6), CI 77491 (Iron oxides), CI 77499 (Iron oxides), CI77742 (MANGANESE VIOLET), Ci 15850 (red 6) = Color pigments that contribute to the creation of different shades—no carmine pigment extracted from cochineal insects!
